For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you'd find this photo familiar and know that I attended the official launch of Microsoft Surface 3 last week! That was me "backstage", catching a selfie halfway working and stalking pretty dresses at Met Gala 2015 :P
This was our make believe office space! Sixthseal and I were invited to share about our user experiences, having been using the Microsoft Surface 3 for about a week and more before the launch. I used it to get my work done, just like how I get my usual work done on my laptop. Except that the Surface 3 is so much smaller and lighter! There are lots to love about the Surface 3, really. Will share more on the next post when I blog about my personal review! :)
For now, here are snapshots of the launch event!
Stars of the day- Surface 3 tablets in full display. Guests had their own share of hands-on experience with the tablet and other Microsoft products pre and post-event.
And each guest returned home with a lovely and thoughtful door gift! We could choose our preferred size of the glass, and have our names doodled on it by a professional doodle artist!
The event was hosted by Will Quah, one of the most dedicated emcees I've come across thus far. He was involved in the whole planning process and gave his suggestions on how to make the event a better and smoother one. Talk about taking ownership of the event!
K. Raman, the newly appointed Managing Director of Microsoft Malaysia who shared about the Microsoft Surface 3 product.
Rukmani Subramanian, Chief Marketing and Operations Manager of Microsoft Malaysia who gave a more in-depth sharing on the specs and features of the Surface 3.
After the product presentation, we had a live demonstration with users who have been using the Surface 3, sharing about how Surface 3 is useful to them in their daily lives.
Firstly, there was a demo at the home area which was set up beautifully, where two university students shared about how the Surface 3 is suitable for both work (studying, researching and doing assignments), and also play (gaming, social media, etc).
Then it was the workspace live demo where I shared about my personal experience with the Surface 3. One of the reasons why I love it is because it totally functions like a laptop, minus the weight. Carrying it around in my handbag with worrying about getting a laptop sleeve/bag makes it just so much more convenient.
My vibrant and colourful make believe workspace, put together so nicely by the team.
Microsoft Surface 3 has now been officially launched!
A photo with the lovely organising team.
Loving all the colors!
If you're thinking if you should get a new Surface 3, go try it out and see for yourself at your nearest Microsoft retail store or any electronic outlets. You can check out the list of retailers carrying the Surface 3 at this link: http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-my/buy. You can also make your purchase directly from that website :)
That's all from me for now. My personal Surface 3 product review will be up soon, once I spent more time getting my hands on the device!
